BSBMED301A – Use Advanced Medical Terminology
Students completing this qualification will develop the knowledge to understand and apply advanced medical terminology as it is used in the healthcare industry. Upon completion of this qualification, students will be awarded a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.
Further Study
This skill-set is ideally suited as an introduction to the Certificate IV in Medical Practice Assisting (HLT43307). Students who enter the full qualification within 3 months of completing this skill-set will have the cost of this certificate offset from the total cost.
Course Length & Delivery
This course is provided as online content only. Learning is self-paced but has a strict enrolment duration of 90 days. Students who have not completed within this timeframe will be withdrawn from the qualification automatically and will be required to re-enrol to continue. Students will be supported by a qualified facilitator throughout their studies.
Assessment Methods
Competency is assessed through a mixture of quizzes, written tasks and checklists (carried out by an approved workplace supervisor).

As this skill-set contains one unit only, RPL and Credit Transfer are not available.
