Overview

This qualification applies to community development work that aims to facilitate community members working together to influence and guide the future of their community. Work includes assisting community members to develop techniques and frameworks to facilitate this process.

RPL Pathway

This qualification is offered by ICM through a Recognition of Prior Learning Pathway. This allows our students to gain recognition for their work in the Community Development sector and is a fantastic way of acknowledging your skills. RPL allows you to use your resume, job description, supervisor’s reports and other documentation to gain competency against each module title.


Duration of Study

Students are required to be employed in their chosen field of study to enhance their ‘on-the-job’ learning.  They need to be supervised by a qualified staff member and working a minimum of 16 hours per week.  It is anticipated students will take 12 month to complete this qualification.

Cost

The full cost of this course is $1800.  This payment is split into two manageable amounts of $900. The first payment is due upon enrolment into the qualification and the final payment is invoiced at completion.
