Overview
This qualification applies to personal advisers who work with a broad range of people, working, for example, in citizen advice bureaus and information referral services. The work involves assisting clients in economic and social participation through accurate referrals to service providers and to other resources within the community, monitoring their progress and maintaining relevant records.

Duration of Study
Students are required to be employed in their chosen field of study to enhance their ‘on-the-job’ learning. They need to be supervised by a qualified staff member and working a minimum of 16 hours per week. It is anticipated students will take 12 month to complete this qualification.
