Certificate III in Disability (CHC30408)

Overview

Certificate III in Disability is aimed at workers with minimal experience or who have just commenced in the Disability Sector. This qualification aims to give employees in the Disability sector a well-rounded education of the industry and addresses key learning areas.

Duration of Study

Students are required to be employed in their chosen field of study to enhance their ‘on-the-job’ learning.  They need to be supervised by a qualified staff member and working a minimum of 16 hours per week.  It is anticipated students will take 12 month to complete this qualification.

Cost

The full cost of this course is $2500.  This certificate is eligible for funding as a traineeship in NSW.  The government may pay up to $4000 for each New Entrant or Existing Worker Trainee.  Your ICM consultant will be able to give you more details on the traineeship program.
