Diploma of Management (BSB51107)
Overview
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are engaged to manage the work of others or to add value to or review management practices. Their role may be in any industry or organisational setting. Typically people in these roles will have considerable experience in their respective industries or vocational areas and couple an informed perspective of the specific work requirements with their managerial approaches.
The BSB51107 Diploma of Management requires a sound theoretical knowledge base and managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate own work and/or the work.

Electives
Electives are created in accordance with the national packaging rules to best reflect the current needs of industry. Your ICM qualification coordinator can discuss the suitability of each elective to your students.

Duration of Study
Students are required to be employed in their chosen field of study to enhance their ‘on-the-job’ learning. They need to be supervised by a qualified staff member and working a minimum of 21 hours per week. It is anticipated students will take 12 month to complete this qualification.
Cost
The full cost of this course is $3700. This certificate is not eligible for funding as a traineeship in NSW. It is possible to undertake this qualification under a Recognition of Prior Learning pathway at a reduced cost of $2000 if your candidate meets the requirements of the program. You will be able to discuss these options with your ICM consultant.
