Overview

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base in human resources management and demonstrate a range of managerial skills to ensure that human resources functions are effectively conducted in an organisation or business area. Typically they would have responsibility for the work of other staff.

Electives

Electives are created in accordance with the national packaging rules to best reflect the current needs of industry.  Your ICM qualification coordinator can discuss the suitability of each elective to your students.

  • Manage Separation or Termination
  • Manage Human Resources Management Information Systems
  • Manage Recruitment, Selection & Induction Process

Duration of Study

Students are required to be employed in their chosen field of study to enhance their ‘on-the-job’ learning.  They need to be supervised by a qualified staff member and working a minimum of 21 hours per week.  It is anticipated students will take 12 month to complete this qualification.

Cost

The full cost of this course is $3700.  This certificate is not eligible for funding as a traineeship in NSW.
